2010 Convex: A New Perspective – Exhibition Collateral
Convex: A New Perspective was an art exhibition held at Bahrain National Museum, Kingdom of Bahrain in 2010. His Highness Shaikh Rashid Bin Khalifa Al Khalifa is a Bahraini artist. The 2010 exhibit ‘Convex: A New Perspective’ was a concept that was developed due to the fact that the artist paints on a convex canvas. A flat shot of the paintings does not do the pieces any justice. So it was decided that instead we would make a master visual that was abstract by shooting the artist in his studio shot from above showing the canvas’ form without highlighting any one piece. There are 2 different visuals, 1 with the artist himself in the shot for the international market, the second for the local market.
